Since Connor Construction first opened its doors in 2013, our leadership team has transformed our organization into a nation-wide industry leader.
Founder and Partner
Benjamin Connor has been the catalyst for Connor Construction’s rapid growth. After accelerating our local sales, he pursued commercial construction partnerships beyond our home state of New Jersey. Since then, we have gained a large client base in Philadelphia and the Delaware Valley region, and we’re continuing to grow beyond the Mid-Atlantic and Northeast regions.
Connor started honing his construction management skills by working construction jobs in high school and college. He took a break from the industry to pursue a degree in Computer Science before returning to construction in 2005. In 2013, he decided to open his own company and focus on building strong client relationships across the region. In addition to his role as Founder and Partner at Connor Construction, Connor is an associate member of the American Institute of Architects.
Reflecting on his journey at Connor Construction, Connor says: “To sit down with clients and help them build their dream and at the same time fulfill my own dreams is very rewarding.”
Director of Human Resources and Partner
Richard Connor is an integral part of our employee culture. He manages payroll, employee healthcare plans, and accounting while fostering a close working relationship with our team. Before embarking on his professional career, Connor earned his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from Rowan University. When he’s not overseeing Connor Construction’s finance and accounting departments, Connor enjoys playing golf, traveling, participating in church activities, and spending time with loved ones.
Director of Construction and Partner
As our Director of Construction, Joe Madden ensures that all our construction projects meet timelines, stay at or under budget, and exceed client expectations. He brings a wealth of commercial construction experience to our company. After pursuing a Bachelor’s in Marketing from Monmouth University and an MBA from Wagner College, Madden supervised construction for Urban Outfitters and GAP, Inc.
Prior to joining our team, Madden worked as Director of Development for GAP, Inc. His extensive experience makes him an invaluable asset to our retail construction team. He empowers our project managers and subcontractors to go above and beyond for small and large retail clients across the Mid-Atlantic and Northeast regions.
Chief Estimator
Boasting over 20 years of combined experience at each stage of construction, Alan has become the cornerstone for our estimating department. His exceptional ability in value engineering, feasibility assessment, and material cost forecasting sets him apart. Alan drives estimation for our national accounts, ensuring consistency and excellence across our projects nationwide.
With a wealth of expertise, he handles estimation and project management for all sectors, including retail, industrial, and quick-serve restaurants. Alan is known to go above and beyond for his clients, of which have included Foot Locker, Walgreens, and Starbucks. His track record includes consistently achieving cost savings and completing projects ahead of schedule.
