Construction Superintendent
Description
We are looking for experienced superintendents to manage the following projects:
- Ground-up
- Retail
- Commercial renovations
- Interior/exterior remodels and night work
- Tenant fit-outs
Duties and Responsibilities
- Manage assigned construction projects
- Manage the day-to-day field activities to ensure that the project milestone dates and overall schedule completion dates are met
- Create short-interval look-ahead project schedules to ensure that upcoming events are communicated and tracked
- Maintain a daily log of jobsite activities and timesheets
- Ensure client satisfaction, project quality, cost control, and schedule adherence
- Conform to applicable corporate policies and procedures and upholding ethical standards
- Communicate regularly with Property Managers, subcontractors, suppliers, and others
- Interact with other staff members to obtain support and resources
- Manage and coordinate work to ensure it’s constructed in a manner that is consistent with the contract documents and/or scope of work
- Verify that all work is installed in a satisfactory manner
- Obtain all inspections
- Make sure all aspects of the physical work are fully documented, including red line drawings
- Manage changes in project scope and ensuring the project manager is aware
- Manage the punch list to assure timely completion
- Conduct weekly jobsite/safety meetings with all engaged subcontractors
- Provide consistent feedback and reports to the project team
- Other duties as required
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in commercial/building construction
- OSHA 10- or 30-hour qualification
- Must be highly organized and efficient
- Able to perform hands-on work with limited time at a desk
- Attention to detail and a self-starter
- Able to handle a wide variety of obligations during any given day
- Must be willing to travel, work after hours, and nights/weekends
- Great people skills and a positive attitude will also be an attribute of the perfect candidate
Required Skills
Candidates must have:
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Experience using Microsoft Word, Excel, Internet/email, and smartphone/iPad/laptop
Construction Project Manager
Description
We are looking for passionate project managers to coordinate the following projects:
- Ground-up
- Retail
- Commercial renovations
- Interior/exterior remodels and night work
- Tenant fit-outs
Duties and Responsibilities
- Plan commercial construction projects
- Perform budgeting and scheduling for a variety of projects
- Coordinate with designers and superintendents to ensure projects progress according to schedule
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- 5+ years of project management experience
Required Skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience with Microsoft Office suite
Commercial Construction Estimator
Description
We are looking for detail-oriented estimators to determine costs for the following projects:
- Ground-up
- Retail
- Commercial renovations
- Tenant fit-outs
Duties and Responsibilities
- Study plans and project specifications to estimate construction costs
- Compile material lists
- Develop project bids
- Work closely with architects and engineers to determine budgets
Qualifications
- 5+ years of estimator experience
Required Skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience with Microsoft Office suite
- Knowledge of safety codes and project requirements
